With 35,000 acres of beautiful rolling hills and vineyards Temecula is known as Southern California’s Wine Country. Home to more than 35 wineries Temecula is considered relatively young region by California wine making standards. However, with its warmer climate Temecula has been able to produce a variety of hundreds of award winning wines. In 2011 South Coast Winery was voted the Best Winery in California for a second consecutive year. This is in addition to the almost 1000 awards it has won since they bottled their first wine in 2003.
